Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

All of the big Dragon 1/6 "kits" are unassembled versions of their action figure accessories. For the most part they have been sold pre-finished for a while. Now its a way to make more money off them. For their size they aren't bad but are fairly simple too. No photo-etch etc. The parts don't come on sprues... everything is cut off and sealed in bags. There was a write up on the 20mm FlaK on Modelling Madness the other day. On the Pak the gun shield is pretty thick. The 20mm Flak lacks the shields (or trailer for that matter). Parts of the Kettenkrad come already put together.
