Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Subject:  DML Pz 38( t) - interior seats mistakeList thread.

Hi,

Having constructed a couple DML's Chech beaed tanks/AFVs like Marder III Ausf. H (the one badly received by many)and Pz.38(t) I've noticed that both have a design mistake that's likely to appear in all other same series vehicles as well. The interior seats are way too tall.

DML offers a set of figures for their Marders and it's a pretty good set. But if you try to make the driver fit into the tank or TD, it just won't happen. The seat sits way too high. This is very obvious if you go on and compare seat heights with Tristar seats. TR uses PE but it's still very obvious.

Has anyboby else tried this? I guess I gotta try to make DML figues fit TR AFV next. Of course, it's ot a big thing to cut seats shorter either.

Just my note,
Mikko
