Landon,
I had this same problem on one of the tanks I built recently. The odd thing
was that I used the same brand of paint that I always use (Polly S) and the
same decal setting solution (Micro Sol) but for some reason the paint around
a couple of the decals was darkened. I have no idea why this happened (and
would love to hear from someone who can explain this), but By doing a couple
of washes using Turpenoid and Windsor & Newton oil paints I got the spots to
blend mostly in. They are still a bit visible, but you have to be looking
for them now. Good luck.
