"Easy Off" oven cleaner works very well on any of the paints. It
ocassionally loosens some glue seams, but doesn't touch the plastic.
Make sure to use gloves when removing the goop after it has set for a
while because Easy Off is exceptionally caustic. My wife got a couple of
nasty little burns when a couple of drops spattered on her doing the
oven the other night.
