Hello and welcome to Track-Link!

There are several things I would suggest :

1- Try and find if there is a model club in your area, then if the general atmosphere is right, join and ask other members about how
they achieved this and that on their models, bring your first efforts and ask for constructive criticism.

2- Visit the ressources on the web, Track-Link is a good place to start, read reviews (especially construction reviews) of the kits
you want to build, read about specific "how to" techniques. Another site that has excellent tips is Armor in Scale at
http://www.cidwebs.com/armorinscale/ also check out Armorama at http://www.armorama.com . Ask specific questions in the relevant
newsgroups, I'm sure many fellow modellers will help.

3- Get a few good books. The first one I would recommend would be "Modeling Tanks and Military Vehicles" by Sherperd Paine (published
by Kalmbach) it's an old book but in my opinion can't be beat even know as the most useful "first modelling book". Later on you can
buy Tony Greenland's "Panzer Modelling Masterclass" and Angus Creighton's "How to build Tamiya's steel-wheeled Tiger I" both are great
books well written by very intelligent and knowledgeable people, they'll be extremely useful even if you don't want to build any
German WWII armour, just by the tips and general methodology they will give you.

4- (and most important) : HAVE FUN :-)

Cheers,
Christophe
