| Subject: | Enamels, Oils, Acrylics...AAAAAAAAHhhhh!!! | |

Howdy again, now i have a paint question. I work at a hobby store in my hometown, Hobby People, to be exact, and I have always been told by the more knowledgeable of my co-workers that you can't paint oil based paints on top of water based. Now, that makes sense to me, a beginner, but then i get on websites, where people paint there models with Tamiya acrylics, and then drybrush oils on top. Now, what is the difference between oil paints, enamel paints (such as modelmaster) and acrylic paints (such as my favorite, Tamiya)? When or how can they be used together? PLEASE HELP!!!...
Thank you much, Jason |
