Three Cheers for Paul Roberts.
I wholeheartedly agree to his praise of the Paasche.
It's single action but the paintflow CAN be controlled excellently.

What I missed in the discussion sofar is the fact that double action airbrushes are v e r y touchy as far as damage to the needle is concerned. Just the slightest tap will damage it out of alignment and renders the brush more or less useless.

Certainly beginners should try their hand at single action airbrushes first would be my strong advice.
