Hi Kevin.

Nice job on the Marder.
I looked at Rhodes' kit. Man, that thing is chipped so much it looks 50 years
old! Your job is much more subtle.

Jason, get some pastel chalks! I've found there are tons of things you can do
with the chalk dust. Get some nice earth tones, black and whilte. Scrape the
pastel chalks with a knife or file to get dust. This can be applied directly to
the model (you use dust to represent dust and dirt!), or mixed with water and
painted on. Try it out and you'll see you can get all kinds of effects. I find
the pastels more useful than a wash. Both techniques are important of course!

I don't have an airbrush, and you can weather things wonderfully without one!
