Marcel, were those the old, original fibre and beeswax coated rings? My 200
(bought about 6 years ago) has a hard plastic or some kind of synthetic ring
and I soak them in lacquer thinner without any problems.
It screwed me up for a while when I first got it because the instructions
were talking about applying beeswax during re-assembly. After several
minutes of head scratching, I realized that the brush had been updated, the
instructions had not.
