I have been using this unit for about a year, its loud enough that I can't hear the radio next to my spray booth at a normal volume, it also has a thermal cut out that will not let the compressor start back up again until it cools down to a certain temp. If you are spraying in a warm area or for more than about an hour this can be a problem as it stays off for 20+ minuets until it cools down, it has an internal fan that runs constantly. I paid $99 at Walmart. If I had to spend the money again I would get the larger garage style 5 gallon units from this company or sears. Below is their website address & the description from the page about the unit.
