| Subject: | T-35A Russian tank colours greeb vs brown thoughts | |
| Date: | Jan 12, 2003 |
| From: | Charlie and Linda Duckworth | |
Before finding this list I was building the ICM T-35. I had emailed two
gentlemen as to the proper green for the exterior. Both surprised me when
their responses came back that the pre-WWII colors for the Russian tanks
were brown and advised to use Floquil Railroad Roof brown. Another source
said he remembered seeing a color WWII German photo of a T-35 and had
written in his notes it was a soft Camel Brown color. T-35 still about
90% finished and not in green or brown as yet.
Any comments as to someone else using brown on this vehicle - I know the
instructions call out using green.
