Hi Eric:
I usually drip candle wax onto some tin foil. Then
when the wax is between 1-2mm thick and relatively
even and flat I press one of the road wheels into
the still warm wax. Let is harden(not in the fridge) and then peel the tin foil off the wax. You should have a perfect template. I paint the rubber first and then put on the template for the metal colour. |
