Subject:  Desert night parka-How best to represent checker pattern-HelpList thread.

 Date:  Mar 24, 2003
 From:  Rob Brown
I am starting the Verlinden 120mm US Seal in Desert Storm figure. I have recently purchased the 2nd Edition of How to Paint Realistic Military Figures by Lynn Kessler and Don Winar. In that book, there are pictures of this figure with the night desert parka represented (ie very small perpendicular lines with occasional squares filled in). Does any one know of a good way to produce this pattern?
Thanks
Rob
