Hi Rob,
I did a set of DML figures in Night Parkas a while back. Basically I took a very fine tip brush and painted the grid pattern with very thin dark green. THis does not have to be perfect, as it will be hard to see, and shouldn't be perfect so as to look like wrinkles and creases. Once that was finished, I just randomly filled in some of the squares. Aftr all was said and done, it gave a good impression (if not perfect presentation) of the night camo.
