| Subject: | Airbrushing modern +WW2 camouflage HELP HELP | |

Hi
well I have been modeling a long time WW2 stuff and the camouflage was pretty easy to airbrush as you didn t have to check all the time your instruction-plan for the pattern.
Now with airbrushing modern stuff which requires the exact camouflage like on the instruction sheet it is a real challenge.
I mean take the Abram tank in his 3 NAto colours,,,you can t airbrush it in a wrong way you have to check all the time the instruction sheet where exactly and when the BLack. green and redbrown stops. Sometimes it s get to thick , or too much of black or else. And what s more frustrazing is that one orginal fotos the pattern of the Abram camouflage is even different than the one on the instructions,,so you don t trust you instruction sheet anymore.
Can anyone help me to become more skilled in airbrushing 3 nato-colours exactly like on the instuc-sheet.
I even draw with a pencil the limits of the pattern on the tank before starting to airbrush so in order to know where the colours stop.
Ps: I compared and real pic of an Abram of the 1St Armored Division and its pattern is different that the one of revell and Tamya. I was told one that all ABRAms to have the same pattern,,,,,so little be confused now |
