Tamiya X-20A thinner or Alchol is best to use with Tamiya Acrylics. I don't Brush tamiya acrylics as they seem very thin.
I usually go with 2 parts paint 1 part thinner for tamiya.
I brush with tamiya enamels as I'm looking to cover a part the first time so I use acrylics only for airbrushing.
Best to get yourself som good pitot tubes to use to measure the paint and thinner with Testors has them with mixing bottles or just plain
www.testors.com
I usually mix up about 12 bottles of different paints each model depending on what I'm building. |
