I have this problem too, especially with Tamiya acrylic paints.

I find the cause to be a build-up of dry paint on the nozzle. You need to take a Q-Tip dipped in Windex and wipe away the clog (be careful not to bend the needle 's tip). It's really a pain since Tamiya paints dry so fast, which means to need to wipe the nozzle constantly.

Also, a sci-fi modeling website says to use 14-16 psi for Tamiya. I use around 22 psi so that may be a contributing factor in the clogging.
