Many times I've visit The Museum of Artillery and Signal troops in my city (St.Petersburg, Russia)
Amongst others weapons the museum contains some german guns, mortar and small weapons. And, very important for modellers, they are NOT OVERPAINTED from WWII period!!!
German Dark Yellow has some shades (depends on thickness of paint layer, I think), but Humbrol 93 is a very good match for real color.
Note - some paint layer very thin, so german dark red-braun primer changes tone of cammo! |
