Just tried my first attempt at panel shading to give my halftrack a faded look. Things looked real nice until I gloss coated my kit, now the paint tones look the same. Any chance the tones will come back after I flat coat? If you ask why I gloss coated the whole kit is I prefer a gloss when I do washes with oils to prevent the wash bleeding into the paint.
