| Subject: | Paasche VL can be used both ways | |

Hi Fredrik,
Get a double action brush. More control, not difficult to use, and less
masking for some painting tasks.
The Paasche VL has a thumbscrew to limit the needle travel so you can set it
up for single action use to spray anything from a fine line to a wide spray.
The VL Set also comes with three needles (#1, 3, 5) for a wide range of
painting tasks.
I can clean my double action Paasche VL and Paasche VSR just as fast, or
faster, then my single action Badger 350. I attribute the "too difficult to
clean" tales to mere laziness on the airbrush user's part. Or those that
think you need to do a full tear down between colours.
When sitting down for a painting session, I start with the lightest colour
and work through to the darkest, leaving metallics until last. The
'cleaning' between colours is little more than blowing thinner through the
brush.
