hi all,
terminology aside, is a filter really a glaze? a wash is a color dilluted with water or turpentine, a glaze (in art) is a color dilluted with a medium like linseed oil; it thins the paint to allow it to become transparent.
I'm not trying to be a smart-alec, just trying to understand the difference between a wash and a filter; as I'm mostly an a/c modeler who is returning to armor after many many years to find that armor modeling has progressed with out me :)
I hope someone can clear this up for me.
thanks, tracy |
