Well I am no expert I use alcohol as a thinner and it dries pretty quick (I use exclusively acrylics mainly because of my kids and easy cleanups).
However automotive body shops use lights in their bake ovens to speed up drying time and I think to harden the paint also. Maybe a good strong light with a decent thermometer there to monitor the temperature as you said you wouldn't want to melt it. |
