| Definitely try the natural turpenoid stuff on some scrap, because I doubt you will be happy with the results (unless you want a gummy, REALY slow-to-dry finish). This stuff works well in removing paint from brushes, but really isn't the best stuff to use for washes. The non-natural turpenoid is supposed to be far superior for washes, filters, etc. but I can't speak from personal experience. I use odorless mineral spirits for oil washes, and Model Master or Humbrol thinner for enamels. |
