I am pretty certain that you have water in your compressor / hose line / air brush. Only real solution is - drastic.

Buy and install water trap on output of compressor just before hose to air brush. I prefer the combination water trap / pressure regulator.
Then discard airbrush hose and buy new one. Thoroughly clean air brush of all moisture / paint.

I prefer enamels / lacquers myself but they can suffer the same problem (water) but they spatter because water doesn't mix.
