I use an old...emphasis on old...diaphram compressor with with a small 0-50psi pressure gauge. I found this compressor can't make more than 20psi! I recently bought for $125 (price delivered) a SENCO compressor advertised for use with a brad nailer. It has all the bells and whistles, one gallon tank, regulator, gauge, quick connect and is much quieter than the big oil compressor I did try to use inside. It'll generate 100psi. So if you want the bells and whistles, ck it out. It's not whisper quiet, but much less money!
