Hello Barry,
dry brushing is like it sounds, paint with the brush around on a paper until the brush looks dry. It is allways good to have patience to brush this fine effect. Go with the brush around the model and if you think it was not enough, than start the same procedure again. Bit by bit you see it and it is allways better to have to less than to much.
Mix the enamel Dunkelgelb with white or take artist oil colors(yellow, white and only a little little bit blue). If you donīt take to much paint in the brush on the first go around, you can easy play and test the mix to find the right colour.
If you had use acryl paint for the camo, you have a better result with dry brushing when you gave the model an enamel matt coat first cause dry brushing on acryl dos not work really good.
Less is more and you will see the result.
Regards
Hartmut |
