You would actually have three common kinds of damage to the paint.
(1) Wear around places where the crews boots - and butts - would wear through the thin tan paint. These would be around the oval hatch in the troop ramp, on hatch coamings, steps, et cetera.
(2) Collision damage. Driver visibility is extremely poor, and these monsters tend to hit roadside obstacles, signposts, buildings and such. These are big ragged gouges. Note - the base paint is very thick, about like a thin sheet of cardboard, and brittle.
(3) Track whip. Some vehicles also have gouges behind the track above the the second or third roadwheel, where poorly-tensioned track hits the hull side. |
