| I have not tried the vehicle colours as when I saw them at the UK IPMS NAts kast year, I was unsure as to which colours they represented (the nomenclature was non-official and therefore it was hard to tell what it was intended to be). I subsequently spoke with British WW2 paint guru Mike Starmer and he went off to have a discussion with John Snyder about the accuracy of the colours. I understand that Mike had some issues with the British colours but that he and John were having an encouraging discussion when I saw them (no fighting!) so some new mixes may appear at some point which will hopefully be more accurate. In the meantime, http://www.mafva.org/resources.asp has some mixes for the outcome of Mike's long term research. I know Snyder and Short's keenness on accuarcy for the naval colours so I don't doubt that they will wish to have the closest matches they can. |
