Thanks, that was it. I had a look, and I couldn't tell...are these masks for the rims of the wheels (i.e. requiring you to paint the entire wheel black and then masking to paint the body color) or does it mask the rims?
Here's what I'm doing: I'm working on the StuG IV Late, and am trying to build the tracks and wheels as one piece, so that later I can simply lift it off for seperate painting. I want to use the basecolor first (rule of painting, avoid painting light colors over dark), mask the rims and then paint the rest black. Am I barking up the wrong tree here? Maybe I should just resort to the template technique?
