If it's acrylic paint, you can use rubbing alcohol, providing the paint
hasn't been on for months. Otherwise, I've had very good results using
Easy Off or Mr. Muscle oven cleaner. Just make sure you use it in a very
well ventilated area, wear pvc, latex or nitrile gloves and DO NOT get
it on any paint you don't want to remove. I stripped a Tamiya Clodbuster
RC kit a friend of mine painted with automotive paints a few years ago
and it stripped the stuff right off without harming the plastic.
