| Hi Andy , this has been asked many times , and to be honest it is impossible to give a correct answer . The reason is the paint used should have been to a standard , but like all standards corners were cut , problems in supply etc. The best advice is to obtain a good clear colour photographs and work out your own mixing for that photograph . I know from research I am many others have done on this subject , you can look at a series of photographs all taken on the same day and in the same light conditions , and you will find not a single vehicle matches the one next to it. So now judge can mark you down . I always quote this "The light you paint is not the light you are judged in" . That was told to me over 35 years ago and still holds true today. This is not meant to be a flipant answer but an honest one , to one of the most frequently asked questions . Cheers ian |
