You can sort of tape a straw/tube over the spray can nozzle with duct tape and spray into a taller jar with some paper or foil as a loose lid. You can't spray into a sealed jar because the gas will pop a lid or the tube off. After you drain the can you should let the paint sit a few minutes, as it will be all bubbly with air.

You can also turn the can upside down and spray all the gas out of the can, then carefully punch a hole in the bottom of the EMPTY can to drain the paint.
