Hi Mike,
I've been using CO2 for years and will never go back to a compressor. I haven't had any water condensation problems, it's totally quiet, just the noise of the air brush. i don't have the particular system shown but it looks like it's twin brother. I bought my setup at a local welding supply place. When I need gas, I just take my tank down to the welding store and trade for a full one. No waiting around for them to fill it. I've never seen an aluminum tank before like they show. I'm sure that it is safe though. The regualtors are pretty standard for CO2 tanks. They don't want people accidentally putting an oxy regualtor on a CO2 or Acetylene tank, so the threads are different. The add says that the regualtor has 1/4" NPT(national pipe thread) threads, again pretty standard. You will have to find an adaptor to go from your air brush hose to the 1/4"NPT. In my case, I went ahead and bought some quick disconnects so I could quickly change from one air brush to another. The hose connections for each brand of air brush are different, so an adaptor would be needed for each type. Usually the airbrush manufacturer has an adaptor available. It would be the same adaptor you would need to connect to an air compressor setup. Thats another reason to go with quick disconnects. Once you have all of the adaptors you need for your hoses, than you won't have to mess with it anymore. Clear as mud?
