Not sure on the Pollyscale paints. But for Tamiya paints I normally thin them anywhere from 50% paint to thinner to 70% thinner to paint.
Also add some x-22 Clear it helps the paint flow better just a drop or two.
I use an Bagder and a Tamiya airbrush and hape my air pressure anywhere from 15-25 psi. What you need is to get the paint an consistency of milk. A little practice also helps.
