Hi Paul;
I was just having a llok at this discussion as I get no end of debate on the subject as I work in a model shop. So much of the argumenis sheer banality as there are exisiting chips in the Bundesarchive so we have the base to go on and as we all know for modellers the field effects give us room for weathering. Which brings to the reason I write this. I was very dissapointed to see that you removed your article as a response to negative feedback. I agree with you wholeheartedly, that I don't know where the phrase "serious research" fits in as far as modelling goes, we have plenty on the subject already. I feel that if your article was intended for those who have questions and would like to know your opiniopn then they can make their own mind up about your article. Unfortunately I think it wouldn't be worth all of the grief from the so-called experts if you re-posted it.
