Okay first of all thanks to all of you for the tips.

I thought I would make some photos and explain what problems I am having, prepare to laugh :)

First of all this is the first time that I attempt to paint a model I made, I didn't bother in the past because I knew it would look crap with my skills and a paintbrush but after a few weeks of browsing through some modellers communities and seeing what people created I couldn't resist trying.

Here are the paints and brushes I have:

The brushes:

And, get ready to laugh, here is my first attempt at painting a model:

Yes it looks terrible. The model is a Tamiya Tiger I.

First I sprayed the model with primer, let it dry and then I paint with slightly diluted XF-60. By 'slightly diulted' I mean that I used a pipet to drop about 10 drops of water into the Tamiya paint container [i did not use the rubbing alcohol in the photo to dilute the paint because i only found out later that i could do this].

Okay tell me what I need to do in order to avoid this embarrassment in the future.

And yes I do plan on buying an airbrush but that will have to wait about a week or two until I get back from vacation [leaving tomorrow! :)].

I would appreciate any and all help.
PE.
