Hi there...I would like ta add in the discussion...recently I tried a wash of white spirit on an enamel painted model (thinned with cellulose) and to my horror the paintwork became lifted in parts where the wash colleted most...there was a cobweb like effect....
Any idea why this happened? The model was even coated with a layer of gloss prior to wash?
Baffled and confused!
Matthew
