I’m looking for recommendations on a basic tank color for US tanks serving in WWII from D-Day on. I’m airbrushing about 200 GHQ miniatures, so I’m just looking for a nice looking base color. I tried Tamiya’s XF-5 Green, but it is far too dark and looking at pictures online it’s clear I need something much lighter. I’d prefer to stick with Tamiya acrylic (or any acrylic), but if needed can go with something else. In any case I’ll want to stick with airbrushing. Thanks in advance for any help!
