| From D-Day to VE-Day: The Canadian Soldier by Jean Bouchery, published by Histoire & Collections is a great reference for Canadian markings for Canadian units serving in NW Europe from D-Day onwards. The book shows official markings for most armoured and unarmoured vehicles ranging from serial number to service flashes and unit identification. In addition, there are photos and coloured plates showing uniform badges, patches, etc. for each unit. |
