| Tamiya's dark yellow XF-60 is an excellant choice .It is available in spray cans as well.To tone the brightness of the color give the vehicle a wash of acrylic flat black.thinned with windshield washing fluid .It is alchohol based and dries almost immediatly! This will darken the color and be ready for whatever type of weathering you may want to do afterwards. The use of pastel chalks and powdered Graphite is handy in showing worn metal areas and highlighting metal edges fenders bolt heads etc.I hope this a help.Happy modeling!Cliff. |
