Hi Jason
If you have Tamiya paints I use for British desert colours:
Portland Stone (British Sand Colour): Tamiya Buff (XF 57) 95% + Tamiya Flat White (XF 2) 5 %. I add half ml of white to a full bottle of buff. Keep it for any other Brit desert armour.
Silver Grey: Tamiya Medium Grey (XF 20), Light Blue XF 23, Medium Blue XF 18 and White XF 2 in equal proportions
Slate: Light Sea Grey (XF 25) 5%, Dark Green (XF 61) 90% and Buff (XF 57) 5%
Interior also seems off white- Flat white with a few drops of buff.
I hope this helps all you modellers out there who only have access to Humbrol and Tamiya paints like me (Info from Modelart Australia, August 2002)
see ya Shane |
