Dave,
I'm a Jersey guy too, and you may want to try Sea Girt Hobbies, or I think it is called Jersey Shore Hobbies technically. Tom Smith is the owner and is a good guy, and carries a great selction of Tamiya paints, as well as other paints. He also has an Armor modeling club that meets once a month. It might be closer than Maplewood Hobbies, but like Brian said they carry a great stock of apints and modeling supplies.
