| I've been using a Paasche VL since 97, doing both 1/48 A/C and armor. With a #3 needle and tip, you can do just about anything, and with the #1 needle and tip, fairly fine work is possible (intricate mottling on Luftwaffe stuff, highlighting panel lines, etc.) I think the airbrush's potential still exceeds my skill. As long as you have a reliable local supplier, and are willing to treat #1 needles as "consumables", I'd recommend the VL. |
