Well Paul and Jerry, thanks a lot for your comment.

The 'projects' I asked this for are an early Pz IV D and a Pz 38(t). The first one from the French campaign and the second from the Polish campaign.

So I think vehicles from that early probably still had their original equipment, and all these panzers were still panzer-grey. I made my jack the way Paul said, and it really came out nice! The buckets are panzer-grey, but very dirty, weathered and washed, so that is one more answer. Leaves me still with the other objects: the wood for the jack, the crowbar, the towing-hooks etc.

I will dive into some books in the near future for all this equipment, cause for the sake of modelling: these questions must be answered once and for all!

I'll post whatever findings i make. Any more tips or resources will be greatly appreciated!
