Hello all,
Thank you for the insights. I'm going the route of using a primer coat to
stick to the photoetch and seal whatever fillers I've used and then 91%
isopropyl for thinning the Tamiya top coat.
I picked up some Citadel primer from the Games Workshop and am very happy
with the results. It seems to have left a nice hard and smooth surface for a
top coat. The downside is that the product is expensive and it needs a good
shaking and a bit of a warm-up before applying.
Cheers for now,
Ed |
