A few questions...
How much airbrush experience do you have? (take no offense please)
Is this the first time you've used the airbrush to do fine edge work, if not did it work before?
What paint are you using?
Thinned with what and in what ratio?
How were the paint and thinner mixed?
If you were to compare how thin the thinned paint is, is it like water, or milk, or??? (to tell, let a few drops flow down the inside of the airbrush cup or a paint jar)
Are the fluid nozzle and needle tip dead clean before use?
After spraying is there much build-up in the needle tip, and is it caked on or wet?
What's the air pressure?
Does the airbrush trigger move easily back and forth (not up and down)? If not, back out the needle spring guide a thread or two and see if that gives you more control.
Sorry for all the questions, but trying to get you the best answer.
