I have seen many posts on how people paint tracks, all the posts I have seen the tracks look to metal and new. I am looking for a painting process (Tamiya Acrylics) to get a ground dirt look not a new tank off the assembly line look. What Tamiya colors and what process would I follow?

I was thinking spraying them flat black, then maybe dark earth and then dry brushing with some steel color?
