My method of painting OD is as follows:

I first prime the model with flat black primer (Floquil)
I then put on light coats of OD I mixed with the following formula (45% Tamiya Olive Drab, 45% Tamiya Khaki Drab, 10% Tamiya Flat White)
I finish off with a diluted cloud pattern of Tamiya Khaki.
