One of my favorite modellers, Steve Zaloga, cuts his Tamiya OD with Tamiya German Dunkelgelb to lighten it up. As OD is the combination of black and ochre (a yellowish color), Steve says that the dunkelgelb is a better lightening agent than straight white.
