There is a stuff called 'Liberon' antiquing fluid which you can get in the UK. Comes in brown or black formulas and works the same as Blacken-it. The brown gives a nice rusted look.
It is available from Alex Teranti Ltd. There email is enquiries@tiranti.co.uk and they have a web site www.tiranti.co.uk - (search for antiquing on the site). It retails at about £5 for 125ml and £16 for 500ml. You can check with them to see if they will ship to you.
